[ his response comes in the form of a simple chuckle, sidling up to wallace when he feels his arm around his waist. it was true - physical affection wasn't something that steven was known for. but wallace was a large exception to the rule, and he finds himself wanting to be close to him more than anything else.

he wasn't going to let wallace slip away from him carelessly. happiness like this isn't something you let go of with ease. ]

It's amazing that Sootopolis has such remote spots like this... It's a good place to take a breather. [ mossdeep was much smaller, and the island structure made use of every bit of land available. quiet, tranquil spots like this just weren't an option.

It really is a cornerstone in the history of Hoenn... I always find myself entranced by the crystal-clear water. I wouldn't trade Mossdeep for anything, but it's certainly a blessing to live here.

He doesn't want Winona finding out right away, and neither does he want his family finding out right away either. His sister brought up the subject to him plenty of times and made him flustered, and he certainly didn't need to let his niece know right now either.

Thankfully, his family was aware of his sexuality and accepting of it. It wasn't really a big deal, but Lisia didn't need to be texting him a bunch of nosy questions either, especially since she also knows Steven.

[ the longer he dwells on it, the more he realizes what wallace's train of thought is... and the more selfish he feels for bringing it up. wallace had plenty of people to tell about a relationship aside from the general public, while steven only had his father. things like this were complicated, and he had gotten ahead of himself. ]
