[ It's not like they haven't done this a lot already, and honestly Yuuri finds himself growing a little more used to it the more Viktor stays around. There are moments every once in a while where he'll take him off guard, but all in all it's... kind of fun bathing in the onsen with Viktor.

Yuuri was leaning against the wall with his eyes closed all the way, just soaking in all the warm water. It was a particularly rough practice today, and feeling the hot water on his muscles seemed to make the pain all melt away.]

The onsen was probably Viktor's favorite part. Even as a seasoned skater, he, too, felt those aches and pains. Not only that, but it gave them both an opportunity to expose their bodies to one another, and there was something he particularly liked about that. It wasn't sexual, no, but seeing the contour of every part of Yuuri's body made him happy— the vessel that he kept his soul in that danced across the ice in such a captivating way, timed with beautiful music.

[ He wasn't even surprised that Viktor made his way over so quietly. Sometimes it felt like Viktor was practicing his ninja skills with the way he just appeared sometimes. Yuuri couldn't help but laugh a little. He turned his head to look at Viktor with a small shy smile on his face. ]

Like eating and sleeping?

_{[ Yuuri is so cute, even now he doesn't turn red in the face when Viktor gets comfortable next to him. It is something he hasn't ignored, but quietly keeps to himself. ]}

[ That blush that Viktor was so fond of, Yuuri is definitely wearing it quite brightly right now. He always seems to fluster when Viktor brings up sharing a bed. B-but how could he ever do that with Viktor of all people!? ]

<sub>[ Yuuri should know by now how persistent his new, frosty haired coach is, and how much he doesn't like being told no. He is very much accustomed to yes from his success, so even the smallest denial makes a twist of discomfort in his heart. You could say he was a bit spoiled.

[It's finally happened.]

[Viktor has been fussed about them sleeping together since he showed up in Hasetsu, for some bizarre reason that probably involved the fact that he seemed to have no concept of personal space, and Yuuri had finally met his match. He couldn't argue against it in this situation-- Not unless he wanted to sleep on the floor.]

[With the way his vision still periodically swam since that faceplant into the wall of the rink during his performance, he wasn't especially looking forward to the notion. Nor was he looking forward to having to argue with Viktor about it. So when he'd been sent up to the room he and his coach were to share for the evening first, duffel on his shoulder and rolling suitcase in his other hand, he felt the color drain from his face at the single bed in the room.]

[Hoo boy.]

[He set about putting his things on one side of the room, anxiously awaiting the Russian's arrival to the room. Maybe they could go back to the front desk and ask to switch rooms, still-- That was a pretty good idea, actually. He stood up from his things, crossing the room to the door, and reaching for the doorknob--]

[--only to have the mechanical whirring sound from the lock precede the knob turning and the door opening just before he could reach it.]

<sub>[ They had a big day tomorrow, and you can only imagine how thrilled Viktor was to have finally gotten through to Yuuri about sleeping together. It may have been a little odd for them both, looking at both of their cultures, but Viktor had an addiction of wanting to differ from anybody else— to surprise them, as it were. Maybe that's why his personality was so erratic. To him, though, the way he lived was rhythmic. If they couldn't follow his pace, maybe they weren't worth his time.

With Yuuri, he had hoped so dearly his pupil could keep up.
It's all he wanted.

The door does, in fact, open right when Yuuri's hands have reached for it, and there stands his silver headed coach, beaming as ever. ]</sub>

_{[ He knew they wouldn't.
Which was why he was trying to smuggle the poodle into the room. Not.. like Yuuri needs to know what was why he was being kept back. Besides, the dog couldn't join them in China, but he made a valiant effort to be with his companion until they reached their airport. The dog would be kept in a kennel. ]}

Are you cold yet?

[He jolts backward from the door with his hands raising to the sides of his head, taking a quick few steps out of Viktor's way to allow him into the room. The flurry of motion made his head spin for a moment, but luckily he had stepped backward to where he could lean briefly against a wall and close his eyes. He inhales, and laughs softly at his coach's dismay over the pet policy.]

They had the pet policy stated before the room was booked, Viktor.

[He pushes off the wall and lowers his hands back to his sides, smoothing his palms along the thighs of his pants awkwardly. He starts to explain the bed situation, when-- Cold? He pauses in his fidgety motions to bring up their sleeping conundrum, tilting his head.]

Cold? No, not especially... Are you?

[Viktor was so odd sometimes.]

_{[ and like clock work, his shirt is off— kind of carelessly tossed on the floor. Pulling his fringe out of his eyes for a moment, he then splays his fingers across his chest. ]}

I am slightly cold!
_{[ and then his hands go straight to his pants. Can't stop, won't stop. ]}

But I won't have to worry about that tonight, will I?
_{[ can you tell he's excited about this. ]}

[He makes a slight face at him-- Forgotten, or chosen to forget? Though he supposed he would have been similar if he'd not lost his Vicchan. He hadn't been quite as inseparable with the poodle as Viktor seemed to be with Maccachin (he brought the animal all the way from Russia to Japan, after all), but especially the night before going all the way to China for something so important, he couldn't deny the comfort he would have found if he'd had the pet along.]

[When the first response to his state of cold or not is for Viktor to throw off his shirt, Yuuri's expression goes slack and then his eyebrows crash together in a frown.]

Well of course you're cold if you're stripping down like that!! What are you doing?!

[Guess who is checking figure skater news on social media instead of skating his agape? YOU GUESSED IT, IT'S YURI.

But the headlines were pretty far out there. Anything from calling both himself and Viktor runaways, to saying the Hasetsu was going to steal Russia's best skaters. It was kind of hilarious in a way...he guesses.

So yeah, he's gonna be pretty distracted. Who needed to ~practice~ to beat a guy who calls himself a katsudon?]
