_{[ Karamatsu is swift as he makes his way to the pantry that keeps all of their medical supplies, only stopping to catch a glimpse in a mirror of himself twice, and returns. He keeps whatever he has hidden behind his back, possibly to not startle Jyushimatsu, but the dramatic monologue he makes beforehand is probably going to hurt more than what he is about to do: ]}

There are times in our life when we must feel pain first to feel better. Although, I cannot mend your tattered heart, I can mend your other wounds as your glorious beacon amidst a dark ocean.

_{[ SLAPS A HELLO KITTY BANDAID ACROSS HIS FACE, kind of lopsided, too, actually. Todomatsu won't even realize his bandaids are missing. ]}

[it's good that Karamatsu came back when he did, because Jyushimatsu was getting ready to wander. then there's all that build-up...! and then a simple bandaid. well, what else was Jyushimatsu expecting, honestly? he didn't need a shot.

his hand comes up to press over the bandaid briefly. so that's it, then? that was pretty painless... aside from Karamatsu's ramblings] Yay! All better! [he raises his arms triumphantly, before flopping over Karamatsu to give him a hug] Thanks, Karamatsu-niisan!

_{[ He can always (sort of) expect a (somewhat) positive response from Jyushimatsu. It never occurred to him it might be because he was a little nutty in the head. Maybe he did and chose to ignore that point. Who knows.
The hug is reciprocated and he pulls back, flipping his hair to the side. ]}

[gosh, getting a scrape was sure serious! maybe Jyushimatsu should be more careful... he nods excitedly to his brother before bounding into the room with the others.

he... he probably won't tell them all that Karamatsu saved him from death. because either he'll forget, or because he knows that's absolutely ridiculous. one or the other. but he is grateful, in his own way.
