CATCH ALL ERASERMIGHT SINS WITH [personal profile] ailurophilian

[ Old habits are hard to shake, especially when it was one of your passions. As time continued, as the students were growing, things that were old and frail were also changing— beginning to decay down to the very marrow. That spark that he carried so fondly behind his chest had turned into something even less than ash and he was in worst health than he had ever been in. More ribs were showing, his stomach dipped inward even more so, any muscle that had did have was slowly fading away. He would still push himself to exhaustion in regards of staying fit and healthy, but he was sleeping longer hours and appearing a lot less energetic.

Still, in the midst of all of this, Toshinori has fixated his heart on something— someone— that brought him enough contentment to keep smiling. Of course, Izuku and the other students' achievements gave him absolute life, but like any person, he liked companionship. Specifically, something intimate.

He had been with Shouta for about three months. Nobody had completely caught on just yet; they both were very keen at keeping things secret. He never liked admitting his weaknesses, but those were bumpy roads that both had long crossed.. together.

And now, they were living together. Toshinori was still teaching and still learning how to teach, and this particular evening, he's spending time grading some quiz papers that he brought home, his bony fingers dipping into a small dish of assorted nuts and occasionally petting one of Aizawa's cats that came to his table to greet him. ]

[It's a strange feeling, coming home to an apartment that isn't empty. Aizawa's grown accustomed to solitude; he prefers it. But he's felt a little lighter these past few months, knowing someone's there waiting for him when he opens the door. He can't describe or acknowledge it fully, but there's a pleasant warmth in anticipating Toshinori's greeting as he fits his keys into the door lock, a sense of security and comfort.

He's late tonight. A petty criminal is active in the area, using a basic but effective invisibility quirk to ambush and mug pedestrians. No one had been seriously injured yet, but Aizawa felt it was always a matter of time with these types. They escalated, eventually. Someone resists, or someone interrupts, or the villain just gets spooked.

But they still haven't caught him yet.]

You look cozy.

[Aizawa slinks over to kneel beside Toshinori's chair, so that he's at level to rub the currently attending cat's back, and also to look Toshinori in the eye. He jerks his thumb at the cat, a stocky blue-eyed tuxedo who can never get enough attention.]

Hope he's not causing too much trouble.
